ARMOR FLAKE 820 SYSTEM

The AF 820 System is a flakeglass bisphenol polyester that is applied to a thickness of 10 – 15 mil. Used to line steel that is exposed to chemical splash and fumes. AF 820 demonstrates very good chemical resistance and resistance to abrasion. The three coat system is easily applied by brush or spray. The three components of the system are:

  • AF 820-1 Primer – bisphenol resin
  • AF 820-2 Brush or Spray Grade Lining – flakeglass bisphenol
  • AF 820-3 Sealing Coat – bisphenol polyester with wax added

ARMOR FLAKE 821 SYSTEM

The AF 821 System is a flakeglass filled bisphenol polyester resin that is applied to a thickness of approximately 40 mils. Used to line tanks that are exposed to strong chemicals, Armor Flake 821 demonstrates very good chemical resistance, toughness and resistance to abrasion. The three coat system is easily applied by spray. The three components of the system are:

  • AF 821-1 Primer – bisphenol polyester
  • AF 821-2 Spray Grade Lining – flakeglass bisphenol
  • AF 821-3 Sealing Coat – bisphenol polyester with wax added

ARMOR FLAKE 822 SYSTEM

The AF 822 System is a heavy flakeglass filled bisphenol polyester that is applied to a thickness of 100 mils. Used with a 10 ounce woven roving fiberglass reinforcement, Armor Flake 822 demonstrates excellent chemical resistance and resistance to abrasion. The three coat system is easily applied by trowel. The three components of the system are:

  • AF 822-1 Primer – bisphenol polyester
  • AF 822-2 Trowel Grade Lining – flakeglass bisphenol
  • AF 822-3 Sealing Coat – bisphenol polyester with wax added
